    Hello,

Please make sure to enter all 48 digits and try again. The "Unlock" or "Continue" button will only allow you to press it if you have entered all 48 digits correctly. If you see yellow text saying "The last six digits are incorrect" or "The recovery key is incorrect", please make sure you are entering the correct recovery key. If said buttons are greyed out, then please make sure you have let the criteria above.

If needed, you can also attach an external keyboard in case something is wrong with the built-in keyboard.

    Hope this helps.

Hello! I'm Manoel Barros, a user with experience in Microsoft products. I will help you with your problem!

You are probably referring to the BitLocker Recovery screen.

Did you change your computer or motherboard? Change any settings in the BIOS? Change your computer's hard drive?

    • These options can activate BitLocker.
    1. First, make sure that the Recovery Key is correct. See the link below:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/loc....

    1. Check if you typed the entire key correctly (it is 48 characters).
    2. Check if Secure Boot and TPM are enabled in the BIOS:

3.1. Access your computer's BIOS. Turn on the computer > Immediately press the F2 key until you enter the BIOS.

    • Do not stop pressing the key until you enter the BIOS interface, or a message "Entering Setup" appears.
    • Some computers use other keys to access the BIOS. Also try: DEL (DELETE), ESC, F4, F10.

3.2. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard and look for the option "TPM 2.0" and "Secure Boot". Confirm if they are in "Enabled" status.

    • The BIOS interface varies according to the motherboard or notebook manufacturer.

3.3. If one of the options is disabled, press the ENTER key on the selected option > Select "Enabled" > Press the F10 key > Select "Save and Exit".

    • If the F10 key was not pressed, look for the "Save and Exit" option.

3.4. See if the Bitlocker Recovery Screen appears.

If the problem persists, contact me through this topic.
