Hello, danny
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Thank you for your feedback. There are several ways you can find and manage your games on Windows 10. Here are a few common ways:
- Finding games from the Start menu
Open the Start menu:
Click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen or press the Windows key on your keyboard.
Browse all applications:
In the Start menu, scroll down to browse all the applications installed on your computer. Most games will appear here.
Search for games:
Enter the name of a game in the search field of the Start menu and your game will appear in the search results.
- Using the “Xbox” app
If you've installed a game through the Microsoft Store or Xbox Game Pass, the Xbox app is a very convenient place to view all your games.
Open the Xbox app:
Click on the Start menu, type Xbox, and then open the Xbox app.
View the game library:
Once you've opened the app, click My Games in the left menu and you'll see your installed games and cloud library.
- Through the Microsoft Store
If you downloaded games through the Microsoft Store, you can find them in the store's My Library.
Open the Microsoft Store:
Click on the Start menu, type Microsoft Store, and open the application.
View My Library:
Once you've opened the app, click on your account icon in the top right corner and select My Library. You'll see all the apps and games you've downloaded from the store.
- Manually find the game installation directory
Many games are installed in common directories, so you can manually browse these directories to find games:
Open File Explorer:
Click on the folder icon on the taskbar or press Windows + E.
Navigate to the “Program Files” folder:
Usually games are installed in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86), look for the game's folder.
Check the folder for the specific game platform:
If you use a platform like Steam or Epic Games Launcher, their default installation paths are also directly accessible:
Steam: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
Epic Games: C:\Program Files\Epic Games
- Using a third-party launcher
If you are using a third-party launcher, such as Steam or Epic Games Launcher, you can find the game directly in those launchers:
Open the launcher:
Double-click the desktop shortcut or open the launcher from the Start menu.
Check out the game library:
Most launchers will have a distinct “Library” or “My Games” option, which will list all installed games.
If you need more specific help, please provide more information, such as the platform you downloaded the game from or the specific name of the game.
I look forward to your feedback.
Happy holidays and happy new year!!
Best Regards,
