You also referred to 'We recommend that you create a new local account'. I don't understand that.
If one went ahead with that, what would happen to my existing local account, which has its own current settings?

In Windows 10 Settings 'Shared experiences', I have turned off both 'Nearby sharing' and 'Share across devices'
In the same page, there is a notice in red, 'Some of your accounts require attention', and asking me to 'Fix now'. There is also a daily notification in the notification panel on right of the task bar, reminding me of this. I don't know which setting will switch this notification off.
Besides, the notice in red ('Some of your accounts require attention', and asking me to 'Fix now'), does not make any sense.
It doesn't says WHICH of my accounts. I have only one Microsoft account, and usually, I don't use it much. So I don't intend to change my settings in any way, and will not 'Fix now'.

I don't understand you, at all. You say:
'It has nothing to do with the number of accounts you are currently logged in to, no matter how many accounts you are logged in to. If there is only one account, it is your account. If there are multiple accounts, it may be a general problem for all accounts or a problem with a certain account.'
Are you talking about non-Microsoft accounts or 'Microsoft accounts'. I am taking about 'Microsoft accounts'. And I have only one Microsoft account.
Further it is not synced to Microsoft cloud. I only connect to Microsoft Account, now and then. So usually I am not connected to Microsoft account. Also there is only ONE device used with this Microsoft account.
So the question remains. Since I have only one Microsoft account, and it has responded with 'Some of your accounts require attention', I need to know which accounts it is targeting? Was it referring to just my one SINGLE Microsoft account?
I note that under Settings > Shared Experiences, it currently says:
'Shared experiences use all system accounts to authorise actions across devices.
All accounts are working correctly.'
This time it refers to 'all system accounts', which would seem to me are the same accounts referred in the previous notice, 'Some of your accounts require attention'
So which accounts are the system accounts?
Just below what I quoted above is a link:
'Manage your accounts'
Clicking this link, takes one to Settings>Accounts>Email & Accounts page
My 2 email accounts are listed at the top of that page.
And under a second subsection 'Accounts used by other apps' below, is listed my SINGLE Microsoft account'
So it seems Microsoft is making a mountain out of molehill,
by referring to my one account, as 'Some of your accounts' and
'all system accounts'.
Perhaps Microsoft could refer to them as Microsoft account X and Microsoft account Y, if there's more than one Microsoft account.

Bill
Hi, BillCalypso
'Some of your accounts require attention' This is a general notification. When Microsoft detects that your account has unexpected dangers or possible problems, this notification will be prompted.
It has nothing to do with the number of accounts you are currently logged in to, no matter how many accounts you are logged in to. If there is only one account, it is your account. If there are multiple accounts, it may be a general problem for all accounts or a problem with a certain account.
We recommend that you create a new local account just to refresh your account user profile in the new local account. You disappeared after checking, which seems to prove that your previous operation settings were not effectively detected or synchronized to the cloud by Microsoft Cloud, which also caused you to keep receiving this message.
The next time, that is, you just re-entered the settings, your settings were detected to be updated, and Microsoft also eliminated the notification.
If you still have doubts, you can continue to reply to me, and we will continue to provide you with help and support.

I described the issue very accurately.
I received a notification in notification/action centre on the far right of the task bar.
This notification pointed me to Settings > System > 'Shared experiences' page,
In that page there was a new addition, a notice in red, saying 'Some of your accounts require attention' and next to it a new button, labelled 'Fix Now', and inviting me to click it. I also said that in 'Shared experiences', I had already turned off both 'Nearby sharing' and 'Share across devices'
What I said, by Microsoft saying 'Some of your accounts require attention', Microsoft is making itself completely meaningless'
Which accounts is Microsoft referring to? It is implying there are many accounts. Can you please tell me the accounts that Microsoft is referring to?
I have one Microsoft Account, because Microsoft likes it that way. Whichever website of Microsoft one goes to, one can use that single Microsoft account to log in.
I have one device, which is used solely be me. So, why does Microsoft make it so complicated, by referring to 'some of your accounts? What accounts?
Regarding your suggestion that I create a new local user, there is no point to that. Because it would have default settings. So in that case, why would Microsoft get confused? It would prove nothing.
Ah, I've just rechecked 'Shared experiences',
and the notice in red, saying 'Some of your accounts require attention' and the new button, labelled 'Fix Now', have mysteriously disappeared, without any action by me.
It now reports in that page 'All accounts are working correctly'.
Again the immediate question is WHICH accounts.

Bill
Hi, BillCalypso
Welcome to Microsoft Community.
According to your description, there is a notification in the "Shared Experience" of your Windows 10 settings, prompting you to repair this account.
My friend, please send pictures of your error.
As a troubleshooting solution, I suggest you create a new local account: See if the problem persists. Go to "Settings" > "Accounts" > "Family & other users" > "Add someone else to this PC". Follow the prompts to create a new local account. See if there is this prompt when you log in under the new local account. (Or switch the account logged in to see if the problem mainly occurs in the account or the system)
Manage user accounts in Windows - Microsoft Support
Open your browser page to see if there are any prompts, and try to delete the trusted device: You can manage your devices by logging in to your Microsoft account online and deleting any devices you no longer use.
Please reply to me if there is any new progress, and we will continue to provide you with help and support.
