my windows update Windows 11, version 24H2 always stuck at 90% while downloading

Question

hey guys .. this is the 7th time I tried to download this latest update that my Windows uptade program notified me to make and it always failing with different reasons

1st time it took like forever to download and when it reached 100% it said an error

2nd time stucks at 0%

3rd time finally it's downloaded without problems and warned me it will take much time installing as it's a major update and after restarting the windows said the update has failed installing

all the remaining times now the update is always stuck at 90% even for 6 hours without a millimeter of progress

is there anything I can do

Click on the below link and click on the Download Now button under the Windows 11 installation assistant . Then install it and see if it helps.

Ive tried to do this with the assistant PC health check and it also gets stuck. Both from my regular all the time windows update through the settings in my laptop and now with the PC health check. Neither are working

Hi Vinay,

I am having the same problem. It is stuck at 88% and causing massive issues with my computer - everything is extremely slow and will not load.

What other options are there?

The windows assistant did not help at all.

Mine is doing the same thing, only it is stuck at 2% and something keeps resetting my modem, which stops everything until I reboot it.
