Based on the description, it seems that the text cannot be displayed because you are using a font that does not contain the arabic letters. The built-in Notepad application can only use a single font, with no fallback.
There are 3 ways to solve the issue:
- Set the notepad font to one that has Arabic letters. However, such fonts may not have other letters available.
- Install a pan-Unicode font, like GNU Unifont, and set the notepad font to it.
- Use a third-party text/code editor that supports font fallbacks.
