Update and Security is missing from the Settings menu

Microsoft directs you to the Update and Security pick in Settings to run the troubleshooter, however, there is no Update and Security pick in the Settings menu.

    Update and Security setting is for Windows 10 while Windows Update is for Windows 11.

    To run the Windows Update troubleshooter, go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

    Click Run on Windows Update

    When was the last time it worked properly?

    Open Registry Editor then navigate to this path

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

    Please check if "SettingsPageVisibility" string value is present in the right-side pane. If so, right click it then select Delete. Restart your computer
