Hello!
I have an on-premise Exchange 2016 environment with one Edge and one Mailbox server. There is an EdgeSync between two server, but I don't know, how to identify which certificate use the EdgeSync. How can I check it?

Thank You for Your post. I have an internal certificate from our internal CA, but the Subject field contain only the Edge server name, but the Friendly Name field contain the following: Edge Subscription
Is this the certificate which use for EdgeSync?

Do you mean the you replaced the self-signed certificate with your own cert?
If you open the Edge Subscription fil which was created with New-EdgeSubscription -FileName cmdlet, and you will see the following parameters.
And form the following picture we could know the Self-signed certificate will be used for EdgeSync.
Which means the certificate will not be used for EdgeSync, it will use a special self-signed certificate.
Moreover, I think the the CA certificate you created will be used for mail routing, as you could see the two send connectors after deploying Edge Subscription.

Simply run Get-ExchangeCertificate on Edge server.
This self-signed certificate will be used for EdgeSubscription.
If you want to renew the certificate, this article may help you: SMTP certificate renewal and EDGE subscription
