Hi JLC. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Guardian Moderator here to help you.

You can get a Blu Ray Player from Microsoft store here:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/blu-ray-playe...

There's more about this in this fuller discussion here:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

    Hi JLC-321

Do you want a Player application to play Blue-Ray disks?

If so, the best player is the free VLC Player, it is fully featured and will play just about every Media file there is . . .

    Hi JLC

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

I recommend using the free VLC Player for Windows which can play blu ray movies:

    https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

Go to https://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/ to download the keys database and AACS dynamic library. Please notice that you should download the 32bit file for VLC 32bit, and 64bit file for VLC 64bit.

After downloaded, two files - the keys database file (KEYDB.cfg) and the AACS dynamic library file (libaacs.dll) should already exist on your Windows computer.

Go to "C:\ProgramData", create a new folder in it and name it "aacs". After that, place your downloaded "KEYDB.cfg" file into it.

Go to "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC", then drop your downloaded "libaacs.dll" file into it. If running 32bit VLC, you will need to find your VLC directory in "C:\Program Files (x86)".

Now, you can easily launch VLC and use it to play Blu-ray disc on Windows for free. Just need to click on "Media" > "Open Disc" > "Blu-ray".
