Hi! I’ve got a problem with Unicode 13 emoji display. When I open Unicode 13 emoji in Microsoft Edge version 83.0.478.50, example in this link https://emojitool.com/unicode/version-13.0 , no emoji is displayed correctly, there are empty square signs instead. Please find print screen below.

Is the reason in Edge version or may be in Windows version? I have Windows 10 Pro with last updates. Or Microsoft doesn’t support Unicode version 13?

Hi Deaengelo, My name is Jeremy, a Windows Community Member. I'll be happy to help you out today. Let’s see what I can do. :)

I understand your frustration there and I apologize for any inconvenience it may cause you. Rest assured that I will do my best to help you

You may simply un-install Edge and re-install it again after, most of the issues regarding edge can simply be fixed with this method.

It depends, how was the new Edge browser installed on your PC, did you manually install that or was that's of a Windows 10 Automatic Update?

If you manually installed the Edge Chromium version, go to the Settings App - Apps and form there, uninstall the new Edge browser, after a restart, the old Edge will be reinstalled

If you got Edge form an update, then the old Edge browser was removed from your PC and that is no longer available as a download . . .

Let me know if it still the same after re-installing

    King regards,

    Jeremy

Hi Jeremi! Thank you for advice. I’ve installed new Edge manually but I’ve also deleted the old one.

Could you check at your side please, if you’ve got new Edge, is Unicode 13 version displayed correctly?

Hi Deaengelo, I believe the problem is within the emojitool itself, I have tried to use Legacy Edge and Google Chrome to visit the site, it shows me the same picture as yours. It seems that the v13 is not yet fully ready
