Please try the following steps:
Method 1: Enable Sleep Mode via Control Panel
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type control panel and press Enter.
- In the Control Panel, set the view to "Category" and click on "System and Security."
- Click on "Power Options."
- In the left pane, click "Choose what the power buttons do."
- Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable."
- Ensure that the "Sleep" box is checked under the "Shutdown settings" section.
- Click "Save changes" and check if the Sleep option appears in the Power menu.
Method 2: Enable Sleep Mode via Local Group Policy Editor
Note: This method is only available for Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise.
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type gpedit.msc and press Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > File Explorer.
- In the right panel, double-click "Show sleep in the power options menu."
- Select either "Enabled" or "Not Configured" and click OK.
- Check if the Sleep option is now available in the Power menu.
Method 3: Update Display Adapter Driver
- Press Windows + X and select "Device Manager."
- Expand the "Display adapters" section.
- Right-click on your graphics card and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software."
- Follow the prompts to complete the update.
- Restart your computer and check if the Sleep option is available.
Method 4: Restore Default Power Settings via Command Prompt
- Press the Windows key and type cmd.
- Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator."
- In the Command Prompt window, type powercfg -restoredefaultschemes and press Enter.
- Restart your computer and check if the Sleep option is available.
Method 5: Enable InstantGo (Connected Standby)
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type regeditand press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power.
- Double-click CsEnabledand set its value to 1.
- Restart your computer and check if the Sleep option is available
