sharepoint migration tool folders and filepath metadata

I am migrating local computer drive contents for an organization into sharepoint libraries. I am interested in solutions using wither the SharePoint Migration Tool functions, or the SharePoint functions.

Is there a way to migrate the content to NOT INCLUDE the folder structure, i.e., move contents from a set of folders into the sharepoint library so it is just a long long list of documents with metadata.

Is there a way to import or add bulk metadata for each document, namely, the file path for each document.

The starting point is a local computer R drive with folders and subfolders of content. THe folder view includes a column of metadata that shows the full filepath for each document.

The desired end point is a sharepoint library with all the documents from the R Drive, with no folders, and with metadata containing the original filepath.
