Can you try doing a clean boot to see if any background apps are causing this? Here are the steps:
- Open System Configuration:
- Press
Windows + Rto open the Run dialog box. - Type
msconfigand press Enter.
- Press
- Configure Services:
- In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab.
- Check the box for Hide all Microsoft services to ensure you don't disable essential Microsoft services.
- Click Disable all to disable all third-party services.
- Disable Startup Programs:
- Go to the Startup tab in the System Configuration window.
- Click on Open Task Manager.
- In the Task Manager, go to the Startup tab.
- Disable all startup items by right-clicking each item and selecting Disable.
- Apply Changes and Restart:
- Close the Task Manager.
- In the System Configuration window, click Apply and then OK.
- Restart your computer.
To return to a normal startup after troubleshooting:
- Open System Configuration:
- Press
Windows + R, typemsconfig, and press Enter.
- Press
- Re-enable Services and Startup Programs:
- Go to the Services tab, uncheck Hide all Microsoft services, and click Enable all.
- Go to the Startup tab, click Open Task Manager, and re-enable all startup items.
- Apply Changes and Restart:
- Close the Task Manager.
- In the System Configuration window, click Apply and then OK.
- Restart your computer.
