this is an Evaluation version of SCOM 2019. the state of the management server keeps turning into gray. It would return to green after i stop and start the Microsoft Monitoring Agent and clear the Health Service folder, but after a few minute it would revert to gray again.

Please flush the management server Health service state and Cache

    1. Open the operations console
    2. Monitoring View
    3. Navigate to "operations manager" --> "Management server" --> "Management Servers State"
    4. In the Management Server State windows, select the grey state management server
    5. On the tasks panel, select "flush Health service state and Cache"

    Hi @Mark Schlebaum ,

please open a new thread about this, will try to help you out. Please prepare also some information regarding the following:

    • SCOM version and UR level
    • Since when the issue occrus.
    • Very important: what related events are logged in the OoperationsManager event log prior to the server turning grey and also after the server turns grey.

Let's see if we can find the cause for that!

    Regards,
    Stoyan
