The main issue that I have been having is that Bluestacks will constantly start and stop using the microphone which causes the audio to become choppy. Is there any way that I can prevent this from happening? This is an example of it happening here:

    Hi, Jelani Moonah

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community

Thank you for reaching out about the issue you're experiencing with Bluestacks 5 constantly stopping microphone use, resulting in choppy audio. I understand how frustrating this can be, but let's work together to resolve the issue.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to prevent this from happening:

    1. Check your system’s microphone settings:
      • Open the Run dialogue box by pressing the “Windows” key and “R” together and type the command “mmsys.cpl”.
      • Click on OK, when you’re finished typing the command.
      • The Sound settings window will open up. Here, click on the Recording tab.
      • Once the recording tab opens, select the Default microphone device on your system and then click on Properties.
      • Click on the Levels tab in the microphone properties.
      • Now finally, increase your Microphone levels to 100%. In case you still experience low volume levels after that, increase your Microphone Boost levels as well.
      • Click on “OK” or “Apply” to save your changes.
    2. Check the sound settings in Bluestacks: On the Side toolbar of Bluestacks, click on the volume button. A volume bar will appear. Here, click on the sound icon to unmute all sounds for that particular instance of Bluestacks.
    3. Update or reinstall Bluestacks: If the issue persists, you might want to consider updating or reinstalling Bluestacks.
    4. Update Device Drivers: Make sure that your device's audio drivers are up to date. Outdated or corrupted drivers can sometimes cause issues with microphone functionality. You can usually update drivers through the device manager or by visiting the manufacturer's website.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a more complex underlying issue that requires further investigation. In that case, please provide additional details about your device and any recent changes or updates that may have occurred.

I hope these steps help prevent Bluestacks from constantly stopping microphone use and resolve the issue with choppy audio. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if you need additional assistance.

    Best Regards,
