Why doesn't Microsoft bring back Microsoft Money and release it as part of Office 365?

One of the dumbest product decisions Microsoft has made is discontinuing Microsoft Money. The product was always superior to Quicken, yet Microsoft abandoned its product. People are clearly still interested in the product because people are still asking for it years after it was discontinued. I've bought Quicken in recent years. It still stinks as a product and constantly has error messages where it doesn't even work for the features you're paying for. I have trouble all the time trying to update my account balances. I never had issues with Money and Money was always very easy to use.

Microsoft should really bring back Microsoft Money and stop letting Quicken sell their garbage product. The best way to go would be to release the Home and Business version so everyone would benefit. Smartest way to do it would be to add it to the Office 365 subscription. You would probably get subscribers for 365 just because of that product. The people want this product. Please Microsoft bring it back.

I totally agree, I have been using MS Money since 1996 and would not be without it. I use it for all my accounts including shares, term deposits, mortgages and savings accounts. I have never found a product to match it for ease of use, versitility back up etc etc.

Adding it to 365 would be an absolutely golden move by Microsoft. Is there any way to join a push to lobby MS?

I completely agree. The modern product offerings can't even sync to the bank properly. I quite literally just re-installed Money 2010 and am going to give that a go for lack of anything better.

I personally would love a new version of Microsoft Money. With the advent of HD 4K etc., it would be great to have one that upscales the font to larger screen sizes. Please Microsoft, consider? I still love and use Money 95, and it is perfect for what I need for home finances. I would just love to make the font larger.

I totally agree with many of the comments below. Microsoft Money was a FAR SUPERIOR product to the joke that is Quicken. Microsoft PLEASE reconsider bringing Money back! If it would run on Win11 I'd be running a sunset copy now!!

I would love a windows 11 version. If it could be scalable fonts too, so it could be customised to the latest HD screen size. That would be amazing :)
