I'm getting an error at 96% in the KB5034765 update and Windows is rolling back the updates. I've tried many solutions on the internet but it just doesn't work.

Regarding the KB5034765 update error, please delete or rename the folder C:$WinREAgent. Note that it's a hidden folder.

Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Miguel O., Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue!

Johan Bernal Microsoft Agent posted a solution to a user who had a similar issue:

"In this case, due to the incident you are experiencing with the download and installation of the update, I consider it possible that it is caused by residual files from a previously executed update process.

Because of this, I suggest you verify that your computer has a correct date and time, and delete the contents of the directory: C:\windowsSoftwareDistributionDownload.

In addition to this, it will be useful to run the automatic file to Resolve the problems that prevent the Windows update, and wait for the system to search for updates.

Thank you for responding. My issue was resolved by deleting the 'C:$WinREAgent' file. Thanks again.
