2024-06-23T21:31:58+00:00 I downloaded and ran the win11 iso, but it errored out. Then I retried the Windows Update and it started with 22h2 but failed again on 23h2. This is very disappointing. Past Windows Updates were far easier to apply successfully.

Initially, I hesitated to repair Windows using the ISO because I was concerned about losing my apps. However, after reading through the link you provided, I learned that it'll also recover my apps afterward.
