Hi All,

Is it possible to have more than one database in a single dedicated SQL pool or should we create new dedicated pool for each database?

Could someone please help me out on this one?

Note: Having more than one schema approach won't work as of now due to the product requirements

Regards,
Senthil

    Hello @Senthil ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

    Currently, this is not supported.

Every single dedicated SQL pool translates to one SQL database in the logical server.

Note: This feature (Synapse Gen3 or V3 (i.e., multi-clusters) where we will have multiple database support including cross-DB queries) is coming and I will let you know once it available.

Hope this helps. Do let us know if you any further queries.
