How do I make Windows split screen behave as though it was a full window?

I have a large TV that I would like to use in place of multiple monitors. I understand and use the split screen feature, including FancyZones, but the split screen view always compresses the window horizontally. I assume this is because on a normal monitor shrinking the text could make it hard to read, but on my setup each split window is considerably larger than a normal full monitor.

Is there any way to change this behaviour?

I think I may have solved it myself. I went to my Display Settings and saw that the scale setting for my large monitor was at 300%. I changed it to 100% and the text was hard to read. I changed it to 150% and now everything looks right.

I now have 4 full-screen windows on my monitor, great!
