"No input device found" following Windows 11 update

This non-techy is asking for some plain English help please!

I use Adobe Audition for editing audio with RealTek audio drivers for quality, but since the most recent Windows 11 update (KB4023057, Oct 23) am unable to record sound.

This has happened before after updates and I'd usually go into Audition's Audio Hardware Setup settings and reassign the soundcard, but this time there is nothing to reassign (no input device found).

I've updated the RealTek drivers via Device Manager plus uninstalled and reinstalled Audition, but still no luck.

Can anyone help please?

Ian

Type device manager in the search box, click on device manager, scroll to sound, video, and game controllers, and expand it

Find Realtek high-definition audio, right-click on properties, click details, on the property tab scroll to hardware ID

you will find like this HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_10431A00&REV_1000

That is the audio device id

That is very helpful of you, Raju.

I've already updated both drivers, reinstalled Audition (a reinstall usually helps if the drivers don't immediately appear but not this time) and rebooted to no avail.

Here is the screengrab. If you have further thoughts I'd be grateful.
