Microsoft Store completely broken with fresh install of windows 10

I tried reinstalling windows 4 times already, I tried anything I could find on the internet.. still it doesn't work. Any app I try to install from the Microsoft Store, I get the following message: "The thing you're looking for isn't here. We probably don't have it, but just in case, try searching for it" - with code 0X00000005. And If I try to update the store... I get "Unknown layout specified in manifest".

    When was the last time it worked properly?

    There are several reports from other users experiencing the same problem. I recommend reporting the issue through the Feedback Hub app to notify Microsoft.

    In the drop-down list menu on the right side, select Retail

    Search for:

    Got same problem, reinstalled it today, followed tons of yt videos on how to solve. None worked. I kept spamming the same methods and somehow it worked with this one: Sign out from microsoft store and close it->Windows Start ->Microsoft Store, right click on it and select App Settings -> Reset, down on that page then go check if store works and do same thing if not. Somehow it solved my problem.
