Installation Failure for 2023-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031356) 0x8007000D

Hi, I am unable to install latest Windows 10 22H2 Cumulative Update, with the error 0x8007000D. I have tried downloading the KB from Microsoft Update Catalog and run manually but I am getting this error as well. Has anyone else faced this issue and does anyone have a solution for this?

    I totally agree - MS needs to sort this. I followed the suggested MS solution and did a complete DSIM Restore Health successfully but then only faced the same problem and error with the download. I have System Restored now to where I was and have paused Windows Updates for a couple of weeks to see if they get this sorted !!!

    Really wish they would address this problem. I ran all of the suggestions other than reinstalling Win 10 and nothing worked for me either. If the other update work why doesn't this one?

    I Have the same problem. I have even tried to install it manually by downloading it from MS site and the install.

    Gborn, thanks for your input. I've stopped the updates for a week and hopefully, they will solve the problem with a complete fix to kb5031356. As I previously mentioned my windows update successfully installed another update the same day as the failed update and another update on 10-12, both worked fine so I do not believe the problem is with my windows update. kb5031356 worked on my laptop win 10 ver 22H2, which is the same version on my HP desktop Pavillion where it failed. The only real difference is that the desktop is not compatible with win 11 but, the laptop is.
