I understand that you have a problem with your microphone when using Web browsers. Can you try to check the volume mixer and change the Input device to your desired microphone?
Right-click on the volume icon on the taskbar and choose Open volume mixer. Scroll down and change the microphone that each application uses like Chrome and Edge (Make sure that they are open). Click the arrow on the right. Next to the Input device, click and select the desired microphone. The changes will apply immediately.
If the issue persists, change the default format of your microphone.
Press Win + I> System> Sounds> Click the microphone you want to configure in the list. On Format, change it to the highest and see if it microphone is fixed in the browser, or change the format is much better for your microphone.
