    Hello Richard, this is Emily.

Allow me to clarify - driver is coming from the hardware manufacturer. In this case, it depends on Logitech still supports this model and still releases driver for this model to stay align with Windows.

I checked their website and I am afraid they no longer support/release driver as of now for Windows 11. Here is the link to their official website for this model's support: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-ca/articles/3600...

This is exactly why I stopped buying anything to do with Logitech.. keyboards, mice, cams.. anything. Will they support anything beyond Windows 11? Do they even support Windows 11 fully?? What about new security features of Windows 12 and beyond? Yeah right. You'd think how overpriced their products already are, they'd continue to support future Windows editions especially if the product is still quite popular on current systems. They don't! Once discontinued, that's it.

Probably a good rule of thumb for any product you buy for your computer. Make sure it works with standard Windows drivers because that's all you might have once the product's bloatware-infected customized application stops working with future updates.

Thank god this webcam is still compatible with basic drivers, but we don't get the nice auto-focus and other fancy features present in Logitech's software. It is what it is, at least it still works. My brother's older Logitech webcam wasn't compatible.. just the mic part. But a powered mic sure beats anything unpowered you'd plug into the mic port of your computer... at least.

LET ME RETRACT the above procedure.

I've just realised the other sound and video devices are not working properly afterwards.

    Regretfully

I've had installed Quick Cam Pro 4000 on my Win11 PC... Now that I have a new camera, compatible with Core Isolation, I've just tried uninstalling the incompatible driver as follows, and the it looks okay. (Core Isolation enabled, after reboot.)

Step1. Core Isolation settings (Windows Security > Device Security > )

    • rescan and check for incompatible drivers
    • click on each listed incompatible driver and check the deitails... i.e. driver names such as oem274.inf (number shold differ)

    Step2. Device Manager (Control Panels > )

    • (V)iew > (W) show hidden devices
    • (V)iew > (I) sort by driver ... then find the matching driver(s) from those listed in alphabetical order. ... You'd find something like "oem274.inf (lpro64.drv)" ... lpro probably meaning "Logitech Pro."
    • uninstall the driver(s), then go back to Step1... hopefully you'd find no incompatible drivers and be prompted to reboot.

    Wish you luck
