Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently purchased a new computer and have encountered difficulties when attempting to install the Brother Full Driver & Software Package. When I initiate the installation, nothing transpires; the installation program doesn't launch. I've tried manually initiating both "start.exe" and "InstUI.exe" and even opted to "Run as Administrator," yet still no response or activation of the installation process.
To troubleshoot, I followed the steps to boot the PC in Clean Boot mode, as outlined in a previous thread on your forum, but regrettably, this didn't offer a solution. Since the initial installation attempt, I've consistently updated Windows 11 and am currently operating on 22H2, OS build 22621.2283. Despite these updates, the Brother software remains unresponsive and refuses to run.
I'm reaching out to ascertain if there have been any identified solutions or fixes for this particular issue. I assume that I'm not the sole user experiencing these challenges.
Thank you in advance for your assistance and support. I look forward to your guidance on this matter.

Hi ,
What is the Brother printer model that you have?
I did the same thing: bought a new PC and installed the full driver and software package from Brother.
Brother recommends commencing the installation from an Administrator account. This worked perfectly for me.
It's MFC-L3750CDW. Please note, that besides the clean boot, I am the admin on this computer and I have also disabled all the security features when trying to install such as firewall, anti-virus, etc. Though when in clean boot this is disabled anyway.
I am the admin, specifically the account is "AzureAD\MyUserName", Administrator.
I would like to mention that I was able to manually install the driver; though this was an endeavor since the good old days of WinXP where the HW providers included the drivers in a separate folder that was clearly labelled all gone these days. However, a lot of more advanced functions are not available to me and I get the "Install the Full Driver & Software Package" to access these functionalities pop-up keeps appearing. I can at least print.
Still this is not the full solution, obviously.
Sometimes you have to remove everything and start over. Brother used to have a removal tool for their software; perhaps they still do. A trick I learned when removing & reinstalling printers is to remove any leftover parts in the Settings app.
Brother supports that model on Windows 11, so you can get help from Brother Support.
