Issues with Brother Full Driver & Software Package Installation on Windows 11

Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently purchased a new computer and have encountered difficulties when attempting to install the Brother Full Driver & Software Package. When I initiate the installation, nothing transpires; the installation program doesn't launch. I've tried manually initiating both "start.exe" and "InstUI.exe" and even opted to "Run as Administrator," yet still no response or activation of the installation process.

To troubleshoot, I followed the steps to boot the PC in Clean Boot mode, as outlined in a previous thread on your forum, but regrettably, this didn't offer a solution. Since the initial installation attempt, I've consistently updated Windows 11 and am currently operating on 22H2, OS build 22621.2283. Despite these updates, the Brother software remains unresponsive and refuses to run.

I'm reaching out to ascertain if there have been any identified solutions or fixes for this particular issue. I assume that I'm not the sole user experiencing these challenges.

Thank you in advance for your assistance and support. I look forward to your guidance on this matter.

For me - when I launch the installer (normally or "run as administrator" the installer just disappears, i.e. I click on it and nothing happens. I have disabled all of security (firewall, A/V software, etc.) and still nothing. I even did a clean boot and same thing.

Something is definitely broken with the Brother installer. I have just put a Xerox MFD in my second house and the Xerox installation went smoothly and without any problems. Furthermore I have installed a dozen of other programs without any issues as well.

    Pity.

When you say "didn't work for me", is that the installer still starts and disappears, or something else?

Did you disable all the antivirus and protection options in the brother instructions?

I'm asking because doing that part got the exe to run. NB , I had already tried fix this a number of times before, so perhaps some other fix also contributed to mine working.

After the installation, I had OT open the firewall port to allow the scanning function to work over the network.

Does not work for me either.

Besides I have "administrator" rights; I'm the only user on my computer and I have full administrator rights.

Since I did manage to install the printer driver and the scanner driver (2 separate drivers), I can use Brother iPrint&Scan which means I can both print and scan without issues. Therefore I am very reluctant to do uninstall the drivers and rum the full Brother Installation Package, because if this fails (which has failed before), this would mean that I would need to do everything manual again (the 2x drivers) which is a huge hassle as the drivers folder (the folder that contains Brother drivers) include a HUGE amount of devices which are VERY poorly labelled and the labels make no apparent sense - I am making this somewhat up - but they are labelled something like as brother1a, brother 1b, etc. which means they DO NOT indicate which driver is for which printer. If they would be labelled for example "MFC-L3750CDW.dll" then this would be easy. But it is not.
