Hey, I could use some help here. So, I've got this issue where the "Remote Access Connection Manager (RasMan)" service isn't running on my laptop. It just won't start, even when I try to do it manually or set it to start automatically. Has anyone else had this problem before? I'm using Windows 11 Enterprise OS.

    Hi Mirza,

What happens when you start the service? What's the exact error message/code you received?

and this is what was logged in event viewer :

Remote Access Connection Manager failed to start because it could not load one or more communication DLLs. Ensure that your communication hardware is installed and then restart the Remote Access Connection Manager service. If the problem persists, contact the system administrator. There was an unknown error.

Any VPN software installed/uninstalled on the system recently? Anyway, please try the RasMan fixes on this page.

    Run DISM and SFC: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e

If nothing helps, you may run a ProcMon trace to capture the RasMan service start events. Or simply repair your Windows 11 installation by downloading the Enterprise ISO.
