Hello, I'm trying to simulate when I don't have access to my account, such as forgetting my password, losing my phone, and access to my email address. it says I need 25 characters recovery code, where do I get it?

thank you

    Hello Ihab, this is Emily.

This message doesn't indicate you have one created in the past. So it is possible you never have one created yet. But since you are simulating this issue, you should have access to your account to create one. Go to https://account.microsoft.com, sign in. Click on Security > Advanced Security options. Scroll all the way down to the Recovery code section. Then click on Generate a new one. Once it is generated, make sure you write it down or print it out, or save it to a safe place.

    I have same issue.

My OpenAuthenticator app lost on my old phone.

Seems Old phone number reflecting on my account, and cannot receive OTP.

I cannot get Recovery code since i cannot login.

Am locked out on all methods, i need to to speak to MS tech support person ( not a bot).

I tried to reach customer support on 1 (877) 568-2495 Bot it closing my call and asking to me to check recovery options on help.microsoft.com .. am i a loop. Whats my next option?
