I am trying to run different applications(games on steam and epic games) such as steam or epic games content. When I attempt to open the file my computer gives the pop-up message that "The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." It then states "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
I have then tried multiple times to reinstall the specific programs that I was attempting to open, and I once again have the same issue with opening it. I can also not open the applications from the steam or epic games library. Before I didn't have this issue with opening and operating these sorts of applications(games). This problem has seemed to appear suddenly and out of the blue with newly downloaded games/content. (side note: When I check the requirements to run these games my computer does meet them.)

The vcruntime140.dll file is a part of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019. Download and install both the x86 and x64 versions of the Visual C++ redistributable package:
