Thread Stuck in Device Driver error code

Anonymous

Have been gotten this error code a few times over the past month, but recently I have gotten it like 3 times within the last week, and that is only from what I have seen with my own eyes. I have tried looking around for possible solutions to the problem, but many places I found said that these problems vary on a case by case basis. I have done the windows update and it says everything is up to date, so I am just unsure of how to proceed if I need to check elsewhere on the device, or just go ahead and factory reset the machine, or downgrade to windows 10. Also I am using the the acer aspire 5 laptop running window 11 22h2 version.

    First scannow:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.

    Second scannow:

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

    Repairing file ??\C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705\mscormmc.dll from store

The startup and recovery settings are now optimally configured for detecting BSOD and creating memory dump files.

Run the net framework repair tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30135

Please continue with the uninstallation and reinstallation of the AMD GPU drivers.

Hello, I'm Felipe and I'm an independent Community Expert, and I'll do my best to help you.

The "Thread Stuck in Device Driver" error message usually indicates a problem with one of your computer's hardware drivers. In order to resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Check for updates: Make sure your operating system and all device drivers are up to date. This may resolve the issue if the problem is caused by outdated drivers.

Uninstall and reinstall the affected driver: You can try uninstalling the affected driver and then reinstalling it. This can help resolve the issue if there is a problem with the driver installation.

Disable overclocking: If you have overclocked your system, try disabling the overclocking. Overclocking can cause the system to become unstable and result in a "Thread Stuck in Device Driver" error.

Perform a System Restore: You can use the System Restore feature to restore your computer to a previous state where it was working fine.

Boot into Safe Mode: Boot your computer into Safe Mode and see if the issue still persists. If the issue does not persist in Safe Mode, it is likely caused by a software issue.

Run a virus scan: Make sure your computer is free from viruses and malware. Run a full system scan with a reputable antivirus software.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consider a factory reset or downgrading to Windows 10. Before taking any drastic measures, it's always a good idea to back up your important files and data.
