On the 2015 version this was exlicity reqiested in the requirements that the back end need to be a seperate SQL, for the 2019 we can't find this anymore ?
Is the design to have the back end on an existing SQL supported by Microsoft ?

    Hi @Wim Van Eyken

There is no difference between 2015 and 2019 version of Skype for Business Server. For Standard Edition server, it includes a collocated SQL Server Express database. For Enterprise Edition server, you need to deploy a separate Back End Server.
