External monitors detected but not active, how can I fix this?

I am using a dock to connect my 2 external monitors, I recently updated my windows 11 and now both external monitors are not displaying anything, 'no signal'.
The monitors and cables are fine because they work when I connect directly to my laptop.
The dock aslo works because the keyboard and mouse that attach via it are still functioning.
Within the display settings, the external monitors are detected but active. How can I fix this?
Thanks!

For anyone still having this issue I found a fix that worked for me:

I downloaded intel driver support assistant at

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html?updatenow&fromnotif

And then after download it said there was an update available. After downloading the update, restarting the monitors started working again!

I had already tried the intel graphics app built in and that didn’t work.

I have the same problem, with the added complication that the "Intel Graphics Command Center" automatically opens on one of the displays which is not visible. That makes it hard to make any adjustments.

After some fiddling with cords, I got it to appear on the laptop monitor, but all displays are listed as 'enabled', but are receiving no input.
Another laptop connected to the same docking station is able to use all displays, is it just this one machine that is not sending information to the external monitors.

    Hi

I appear to have the same problem. Docking station not working with monitors. the monitors appear in the Intel graphics command centre and clicking the 3 dots then enable doesn't work and in the system display settings when I click to extend the display to the monitors it automatically reverts to 'Disconnect this display.'

    Thanks for the reply,

What I meant with the update, is the only thing I can think that changed were the routine system updates that occurred via the Lenono Vantage application. Updating the BIOS certain Drivers, though none that are related to display or output.

In the normal Display settings it simply shows the other external monitors but are a different faded grey, im assuming to show they arent active. Cant access refresh rate or alter they display configs.

    hope this helps solve it.

    Thanks again.
