image thumbnail view not working consistently in SP 2019

Hi Guys,

I knew there was a known issue that thumbnail preview did not work with modern libraries in SP 2019 onprem.
I tested the behaviour in my clients 2019 environment, it did not work as expected, worked with classic library.

But I then tested the same behaviour in my test environment and it worked in modern library.

In both the environments, I had the sites of STS#3 template.

Can someone please test this behaviour for the same site template and confirm the outcome.
