I am using VS 2019 Xamarin connected to a MAC via VPN with an active developer account. I was able to archive my Android app but every time I try to archive my IOS app I get the error "Cannot create an IOS archive 'APP NAME'. Process cannot be executed on XMA server. /user/bin/codesign exited with code 1" and "Failed to codesign 'APP NAME': Warning: unable to build chain to self-signed root for signer "APPLE DEVELOPER NAME" "LONG FILE NAME:errSecInternalComponent". Any suggestions to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for sending me this link. Unfortunately, I have already tried all of these and they haven't worked.
@Gannon Maybe you can report a problem on Developer Community.
Most times when I can't archive the iOS app is because I didn't have the correct provisioning profiles installed, or did not select them.
Do you have any suggestions on where I'm going wrong? 
Hmm hard to tell but it looks like you are trying to archive using a development certificate rather than a distribution certificate.
You should download and install the distribution cert and profile on the mac and use those to archive.
Otherwise use automatic provisioning.
I did some more looking and found this. I have made sure to always trust all of my certificates on the MAC. When I try to use automatic I get the same errors.
