Options:
- Go to the Network Adapters Device Manager, select your wi-fi adapter and take note of the driver version in use.
- Go to the driver tab and uninstall the driver and its software.
- Restart your computer.
Windows will automatically reinstall the appropriate driver for the wi-fi adapter. After restarting the computer, check if the new driver is the same version as before or a different version.
- If it doesn't solve, go to the HP website, download and then install the latest available driver version for your wi-fi adapter model.
