Hello, friend. This seems a very serious problem, amd this kind of issue even happened to me once. Try to restart your computer, and it might start working.
For the audio issue , follow these steps:
For Windows 7, I used this and hope it will work for all Windows flavors:
- Right click on My Computer
- Chose Manage
- Select Device Manager in the left panel
- Expand Sound, video and game controllers
- Find your audio driver and right click on it.
- Chose Disable
- Right click on the audio driver again
- Chose Enable
It should start working now.
If it still doesn't work, then try these steps:
Please run System File Checker. This will inspect all of the important Windows files on your computer, including Windows DLL files. If System File Checker finds a problem with any of these protected files, it will replace it.
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Type: sfc /scannow (and press Enter)
- Restart your computer.
If that doesn't help, kindly try restarting the Windows Explorer in Task manager > Processes, or to do this:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc simultaneously in your keyboard to open Task manager.
- In the Processes tab, look for Windows Explorer, right-click on it and select Restart.
This will make your taskbar and desktop icons disappear for a short time. Once everything goes back to normal, kindly check if that helps fix the issue.
If the issue still exists, kindly check if there are pending updates to install in the Windows Update settings. If so, please download and install the update(s).
- Even if the problem is not solved, then try contacting the Microsoft Service or Help Centre.
I can't see or hear you crying, my friend. I will try my best to help you. If you face further issues, please feel free to inform me through this community. Hope this helps!
