where are saved email addresses stored in Windows 10?

Whenever I visit e.g. an on-line retailer and am asked to provide my email address, as soon as I enter a couple of characters, Windows brings up a list of email addresses from which I can select my latest one. The list contains many old email addresses of mine and my late wife.

Where are these saved and how can I remove some please?

PS I don't think that the topic I've used (Family) is the correct one but I can't find another one. If it's wrong would a Moderator please change it. TIA

If you are using Edge then go to Settings and more then select Passwords. You can delete the ones you don't need.

Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

I think you are referring to the auto fill settings on Edge, you can modify these settings by following these steps:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

Sorry EliseM_456 but when I followed that link it took me to the screen below. What should I have done from there?

I was then prompted to sign into my Microsoft account Manager and when I clicked on that it asked me to input the letters I saw in a window. I didn't see the point!

If you open Edge and then follow these steps to modify the auto fill settings:

Select Settings and more > Settings > Profiles > Addresses and more.

Turn on Save and fill addresses. The setting is on when it has a blue background, and it's off when the background is white.

    Kind Regards,
    Elise
