WH-CH510 bluetooth headphones not connecting correctly to Windows 10 PC

I have owned a pair of Sony HW-CH510 Bluetooth headphones for a few months and have had no issues with them in the past. However, a few days ago, I turned on my computer and they refused to connect. I have been able to connect them to my computer but, when showing up in the Bluetooth and other devices section, they come under Other Devices and I cannot get audio out of them.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, turning off and back on both my PC and its Bluetooth but nothing is working. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply Carlo,

I have opened out the Bluetooth menu on the Device Manager, but there is no single Bluetooth thing to click, just a broken down list of each connection I think. Do I uninstall the connection to my headphones?

    Good Day JackBowes,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, I need the exact model of your laptop for me to check the updated Bluetooth driver from the manufacturers website and let's install it.

I'll look forward for your response, have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    The troubleshooter has brought up

    "Problems found

Check Bluetooth radio status                 Not fixed

What does this mean, and how do I solve this?

The device is a WH-CH510 Sony Bluetooth headphones, is that the information you need?

After completing both bits of advice and restarting my computer, the only change is that the headphones now show up with a different icon on the Bluetooth and other devices page in settings, it has changed from headphones to what looks like a phone next to a monitor.

Thank you for your continued help, I really appreciate it
