WH-CH510 bluetooth headphones not connecting correctly to Windows 10 PC

I have owned a pair of Sony HW-CH510 Bluetooth headphones for a few months and have had no issues with them in the past. However, a few days ago, I turned on my computer and they refused to connect. I have been able to connect them to my computer but, when showing up in the Bluetooth and other devices section, they come under Other Devices and I cannot get audio out of them.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting them, turning off and back on both my PC and its Bluetooth but nothing is working. Any ideas?

It looks like it extracted the zip file to that file folder in the middle of your screenshot. Double click to open it and see what's inside. Look for an .exe file to right click to Run as Administrator.

If not then see here how to extract or Unzip a zip file with 7 Zip:

Extract all does not come up as an option when I click on it, the closest I can get is going into 7-zip and trying that, but I can't find a .exe file. I'm really sorry I'm so slow with this, I haven't done this before and I'm finding it difficult.

Jack, that file says it's still a Zip archive which means it hasn't been extracted.

Here is a tutorial on how exactly to extract the file:

    https://www.simplehow.tips/a/56/how-to-zip-and-...

Easiest is to right click the file to Extract All, or in the File Explorer Windows it should have an Extract All on the toolbar at top. Let it extract to a place where you can find it, then it should open with the extracted files. Find the .exe file, right click to Run as Administrator.

I have extracted the file and this has been downloaded. Upon right-clicking it I see no option to run as administrator.

Extract the file, look for the .exe installer file, right click to Run as Administrator, install driver.

If any problems, let me know exactly what the problem or error message is. It helps to provide a screenshot following this guide to capture a screenshot and attach it using Attach Image button in reply box: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/o...
