Login to office.com and go to Profile (top right) then Security and you can configure 2FA there, and update any devices you use.

I am going through a weird issue. I have a Work account. I am unable to login despite having reset the password through the alternate email ID as it keeps asking for 2FA using the Microsoft Authenticator App. Now, I registered the work account using the Microsoft Authenticator App on my iPhone, however I ended up deleting that account after my work was done without unregistering the device.
The alternative ways to authenticate my sign in, showing up as options for that work account is either, 'Approve a request on my Microsoft Authenticator App' or 'Use a verification code from my mobile app'. These are the only options. Obviously both options are connected to Microsoft Authenticator App. There is no mobile number code or alternative email ID verification code option showing up.
Funnily enough the approve sign in option pops up on my iPhone but upon clicking the notification, the app tells me that the account is no longer available and asks me to sign in first and that also asks for the 2FA which is again the above two Authenticator App options. I have disabled iCloud backup in settings.
Additionally, we are a small organisation with no IT help desk to help us with this issue. How can this issue be fixed?
