Question

This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on January 12th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10. 

1. Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4598242, Build 19041.746 and 19042.746
2. Windows 10 versions 1909 - KB4598229, Build 18363.1316

REMINDER Adobe Flash Player went out of support on December 31, 2020. Amazing. A number of my programs and games were removed without permission. Thank you yet again for flawless update experience.

I have a program installed, and after the update, when I clicked on the icon in my task bar, it would try to install the program instead of just running it.  I went to my program files and clicked on the .exe file, and it opened. So I saved that one to my task bar, and it works now.

Did you check your program files to see if the ones you believe were removed are actually still there?

The shortcuts disappeared from my desktop and I don't really remember what went missing so can't check
