Question

Hi,

We have WSUS version (10.0.17763.1). Below issues found on WSUS Server.

++ Client Version Shows Wrong in WSUS Server.
++ WSUS Server Not Sync 21H1. (Upgrade & Windows 10 is Selected in Product & Classifications)

Is it config issue or some known issues.

Please help.

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

Here are all comments of the two issues for your reference.
Client Version Shows Wrong in WSUS Server.

It is a known issue. The version which shown on the WSUS console is Windows Update Agent version rather than the Windows Operation System version. In my opinion, the windows Update Agent is used to communicate with the WSUS server. So the version shown on the WSUS console is Windows Update Agent version not OS build. We're very sorry for any inconvenience that may caused, but it's the design. We could not change it right now.

Here is a windows client in my environment for your reference:

WSUS Server Not Sync 21H1. (Upgrade & Windows 10 is Selected in Product & Classifications)
The feature updates for 21h1 did release by Microsoft. Please try to tick the products and classifications as the below picture and sync the feature updates. I have already tested in my lab. Here is a related screenshot for your reference:

Thanks for your answer.

As per your recommendation. I updated Product TAB as "Windows 10 1903 & later". Earlier "Windows 10" is Selected. Now Both Selected. "Upgrades" is already selected in Classifications TAB.

Lets wait for next sync and update you on the same.

Now the 21H1 is sync with server. Thanks.

When we expect the resolution of "Client Version Shows Wrong in WSUS Server." Since the same is known issue.
