The Windows update compatibility check runs a scheduled task that runs periodically compared to PC Health Check App which shows information in real-time. So, if you turned on a requirement like TPM recently, the status in Windows update would take a while to change, so give it a day or two. If you cannot wait, update manually using the steps below:

    Check Windows 11 compatibility
    https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/09/window...

    Download Windows 11
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo...

Use the Installation Assistant to Download Windows 11

Alternatively, download an ISO file and Run Setup.exe to Start the Upgrade, using Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.

All steps, including MCT and Installation Assistant, are covered here:

    Hope that helps.

    Sumit,

    I have a MS Surface Studio with "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820HQ CPU @ 2.90GHz "

The MS "PC Health check app" reports "This PC meets Windows 11 requirements".

In the UK its sometimes said that "the left hand isn't talking to the right hand" in this sort of situation.

Thanks. Yours is a legit false positive for sure. Maybe someone has more ideas on this.

    https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/08/27/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements-and-the-pc-health-check-app/

Based on those findings, we have expanded the list of compatible 64-bit processors to include the following:

    Intel® Core™ X-series, Xeon® W-series

Intel® Core™ 7820HQ (only select devices that shipped with modern drivers based on Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps (DCH) design principles, including Surface Studio 2)
