Printing remotely from an Azure windows virtual machine.

Question

I run a small printing company.

I have a Mac, but have an Azure Windows Virtual Machine, accessed via Microsoft Remote Desktop that allows me to run specific processes more aligned to Windows.

I want to establish a remote connection to my wireless printer (Brother 8690) from my windows virtual machine... So that I am able to print files sent by my Azure WVM anywhere, anytime.

I have opted to 'redirect' printing services in the 'Microsoft Remote Desktop' app... I have turned on printer sharing from my mac. Nothing seems to enable me to recognise this printer from the virtual machine.

I'd really appreciate a workable solution.

1.Is this wireless printer (Brother 8690) sited in your home network?

2.Yes, there is a solution about Azure Cloud Universal Printer, it will register your printer which has been installed on windows 10 as Azure Cloud Universal Printer, so that you can print files which are sent by your Azure windows VM anywhere, anytime.

3.What's Azure subscriptions do you purchase now?

There is a list of subscriptions requirement that include Universal Print
Organizations that have one of the following subscriptions have licenses for Universal Print.
