KB5003197 breaks Hypervisors

Question

After installing this KB on our Server 2016 Hypervisors, we can no longer access the settings of any VM set up as Gen 2, and we can no longer create any VMs as Gen 2. Uninstalling the KB resolves the problem.

Thanks for your feedback. After research internally and externally, currently, I haven't found a similar case as yours.

We may keep monitoring on it, check if someone else report this issue.

HI, We have the same problem on a HyperV Cluster based on 3 Windows Server 2016 DC and a Dell Storage SC 5020 behind the servers. After installing the Update KB5003197 we have I/O errors on the the FailoverCLuster Manager, no Live Migration is working, the Virtual machines goes up and down. Deinstallation of the KB5003197 was the only way to get rid the I/O errors.
