Printers showing in Printers & Devices, but not showing in Applications

We have domain users logging in with a roaming profile.

Frequently users log in and have their saved printers showing in Printers & Devices, but when they open Word, Chrome, etc. the printers do not show up. If they remove and add the printer, it will show up in appications.

Any ideas what is happening?

    I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

    After the remove/add process, will they disappear again? is the printer in the Print Server or they have installed manually?

    If it they have installed it manually, try to uninstall then reinstall the printer driver and check to see if it appears in the application or not?

    Click on Start > Settings > Devices > Printer & Scanner > Click on the troubleshooter.

    If the issue still persists, check the DC policy that applied on the computers or ask the server admin for more information.

    Or I would suggest posting this query to our neighbor forum from the link below. They are more oriented with regards to this type of query/issue and there will be IT Pros/System Admins/Server Admins/AD Admins who are available that will be able to fulfill your query as we are more of a home/personal consumer-based forum.
