Acer Nitro 5 : AN515-51
Core i5-7300HQ 2.5Ghz
12GB
Edition: Win10Pro
Version : 21H1
Build : 19043.1320
Problem: Start after latest update 21H1.
The Primary Search Bar on Start button /Cortana does not register any key presses
Persists on Windows Explorer and Settings App.
On investigation i found the SearchApp on task manager's Process indicates that it is suspended. as shown below.
Following the SearchApp process into the details page shows that its Suspended and disabled as well as other search apps like SearchFilterHost.exe, SearchIndexer.exe and SearchProtocolHost.exe as running but not allowed or disabled. screenshot down below.
I have only tried to kill the process but none of that helped.

There is nothing unusual about your screenshot. As asked previously can you give an idea what solutions you have tried.
When you type in Search on the taskbar what happens, nothing or something. (but not as expected)
Decription of the problem is there is a cursor blinking, but none of the keys are registered same as the file manager search field also same as the setting app search field. the search input does not register any key types. Don't know if that is sufficient. I have tried closing the Search App but its hard wired to start as soon as you close it. thats all.
