    Hello RUCHIT,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Can you tell me what you are trying to do when you get this error code 5 prompt?

This error code usually points to a lack of permissions, but it can involve many operations, such as running a command at a command prompt that requires administrator permissions, or running an application as an administrator.

To solve this problem, you need to use an administrator account to perform operations, or use another administrator account and assign administrator rights to your account. The specific operation process is as follows:

If your current situation is not as I suspect, please do not hesitate to describe your problem in detail.

I am not able to sign in as an administrator as it says the same problem code Error Code5. Access denied.

And I dont see any option of family & other in the account section of settings.

I am unable to install any application as it requires the administrator login. I want to remove this.

    Hi RUCHIT,

Thank you for your additional clarification on this issue.

Please click "Start" -- "Settings" -- "Account" -- "Your info". Please check whether there is the word "Administrator" under your account name on this page.

If you do not have this identifier, your account does not have administrator rights.

Here is a screenshot of the options for creating an account:

But now the problem is, if you have an administrator account, but the login Error 5, this means that the operation is blocked by the system, but you do not have the corresponding operation permissions. In this state, all I have to suggest is that you find another device, create USB installation media, and reinstall your Windows system.

Visit Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com) **** and click "Download Now" to download MCT (Media Creation Tool), then download and run the program, select "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) for another PC”, and then choose Language, Version, Architecture (if you are not sure about these, choose "Use the recommended options for this PC), then select "USB flash drive" in the "Select Media to Use" interface, then make a boot disk, boot from the USB flash drive after completion, and execute the installation program.

Next, follow the process steps below to install the system.
