Hi

Struggling with a windows update

Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022303)

Install error - 0x800f0988

Have run troubleshooting on the updates and tried to reinstall but this does not seem to work.

Is there a simple fix..

Its been a problem for a while and it seems others have the same issue.

Thanks

I have tried all these tips except for the in-place upgrade, and it still doesn't work. I don't feel comfortable doing the in place upgrade. Firstly, because it's an extreme measure in my view, but secondly and most importantly, I doubt it will work when nothing else has. And also, I feel annoyed because Microsoft should sort this out, I shouldn't have to spend days trying all sort of fixes, that don't work, for an important update to be installed. Why do I have to do all these things, some of them that could potentially corrupt my laptop, when Microsoft, who have way more expertise, and time, should be working on a fix
