My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

I am having the same problem in Windows 10 with both the wired mouse and keyboard.

In addition sometimes the monitor will come on, but the mouse and keyboard still don't work.

I checked in Device Manager that both the mouse and keyboard are allowed to wake the computer. I also checked that drivers for both are up to date.

    Help!!!!

I was able to adjust these settings within WIN 11 and so far so good. Thank you.
